Website Update

I finalled switched to Jekyll with al-folio theme, it is uncanny how popular this theme is amongst academia people. To safe myself from future hassle in maintaining website, I decided it’s better to switch.

The steps are remarkably simple, follow al-folio-git Installing until you see a working sample theme.

Some random tips to speed up the customizing process:

1. The main customizations (title/blogname/social media intergration) are stored under _config.yml.
2. Delete tabs you don’t need in _pages
3. Media files are under the typical _assets
4. Use _bibliography for publications
5. Change repository setting under _data
